Conwy County Borough Council purchased the pier with assistance of the Welsh Assembly Government
Who are we working with?
The pier pressure group and through it's work with building a social enterprise not for profit company, Shore Thing, have commisioned a business plan by specialist consultants Parkin Heritage and Tourism with Purcell Miller Tritton (Conservation Architects) to enable the applications to funding
bodies in partnership with Conwy County Council.
How much would it cost to restore the pier?
In November 2009 the Conwy County
Borough Council spent conducted a preliminary structual survey which was carried out by Datrys. The purpose of the inspection was to determine the form and general condition of the pier structure so that the scope of remedial works that might be required to bring an acceptable condition for public access could be outlined.

We have estimates from the building of our business plan which would outline how much each zone would cost. This is our best estimate of the scost for the restoration and re development for the entire project.
